Emergencies can happen at any time and any day. Our doctors and staff at Green Valley Animal Hospital know how important it is to get emergency treatment for your cat or dog. During business hours, there is always someone to help you in case of an accident or sudden illness. Please give us a call.
Signs that need attention right away
- Attack by another animal or pet
- Broken bones
- Chocolate ingestion
- Collapse, or difficulty breathing
- Hit by a car
- Marijuana or other drug ingestion
- More than one seizure in a 24-hour period
- Obstetrical problems (labor problems)
- Rattlesnake bite
- Severe accident
- Severe pain or cough
- Vomiting or diarrhea that goes on for an extended time
After-hours emergency care
After we close, Tropicana Animal Hospital takes emergencies around the clock.
A pet already hospitalized with us stays here overnight, with staff in the building through the night. What we cannot take after we close is a new emergency.
