Dr. Macy Ceasar is a native of a small town known as Eunice, Louisiana. Early on in her childhood, she began riding horses and as a result, she developed an unbreakable bond working with animals. From then on she made it a goal to one day become a veterinarian. In 2019, she received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Southern University and A&M College; she completed her D.V.M. at Louisiana State University in 2024.
Some of Dr. Macy’s specific interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, ophthalmology, and primate medicine. Before completing veterinary school, she was able to nurture her passion for primate medicine by working with Chimp Haven, a local chimpanzee sanctuary in northern Louisiana. Initially, Dr. Macy planned to continue to work with chimpanzees, but ultimately she decided to move to Nevada to expand her horizons and focus more on companion animal medicine.
In her spare time, you can find her at the park with her sweet Australian Shepherd, Ellie, enjoying local coffee shops, or lounging at home reading a book with her cat, Pumpkin.
