Dr. Jes Mendonca-Gunn grew up in Austin, Texas. She attended undergraduate, masters, and College of Veterinary Medical School at Texas A&M University. She has always been around animals growing up, and has a special spot in her heart for felines of all kinds. Her professional interests include internal medicine, health prevention, and dental care.

In her free time she enjoys hiking (would love to one day be able to do the PCT from California to Canada), fishing (deep sea fishing preferred), weight lifting, swimming, cooking, eating, cuddling with her cat (Kitty Cat aka K.C.), and reading.
